Ab Meri Baari is a nation-wide initiative to create normative change and drive social accountability through communications and advocacy. The objective is an increase in the efficacy and agency of adolescents, especially girls (between 10 to 19 years of age) and impact their decision making and understanding on education, sexual and reproductive health and early marriage.

Launched in April 2019, the campaign has engaged with adolescents through various channels in Jharkhand and Rajasthan to raise awareness and amplify their voice. Staring with a film launch around the importance of voting for adolescents, followed by empowering adolescents to raise accountability through social audit tool and finally amplifying the recommendations through a bus journey, the journey has continued to evolve and empower the adolescents of the country.

It allowed us to understand their point of view and provide them recommendations for improvement of service delivery through collective action.”

- Kumari Kruti, a girl champion from Simdega
"The 'Ab Meri Baari' bus journey and program will provide adolescents in Uttar Pradesh a platform to discuss their experiences, challenges and solutions around priorities like Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights, Nutrition, Teenage Pregnancy, Child Marriage, among others. I hope young girls in Uttar Pradesh continue to play an active role in bringing about change for the better."

- Smt. Sanyukta Bhatia, Mayor of Lucknow
"We are glad to be part of Ab Meri Baari, a girls-led movement that focuses on voices and challenges of adolescents. Through the scorecard exercise, the girls have been able to play an active role in their own wellbeing and growth.
